With each new chapter and deeper reflective state of consciousness, I find a the pattern of a spiral.
On the one hand, there very much can be a downward spiral of lows, which thus far, have followed surpassed by series or highs. If we pan out on the micro of a season in life, and look at the spiral as part of a whole, the highs and lows disappear into one marvelous tapestry of beauty with how intricately our lives weave together.

Much to the chagrin of my maternal grandmother, most likely I surmise because I never asked, math is not my thing. Neither is PR, but that’s another story…
Mathema-cation aside, as I’ve explore how to be a better photographer, and ultimately visual artist, I’ve seen images like the one above in a number of videos, online courses, and articles. Like framing a shot or an image, when we do pan out and look at the whole, I believe the intricacy of our lives are framed in a similar fashion.
